Every strand begins as a conversation between colors.
Some colors remain on the surface. Others seem to glow from within.
The story of Lumi Strands began with a fascination for the way light moves through translucent glass beads. Clear surfaces catch delicate reflections, faceted details shift with every angle, and soft pearl tones bring a sense of calm to each composition.
We began to wonder whether that fleeting light could be held in something small enough to carry, touch, and make part of everyday life.
That is where the first strand began.

Every strand begins as a conversation between colors.
Before a piece is threaded, its colors, shapes, and proportions are arranged and rearranged by hand.
We consider the relationship between transparency and opacity, softness and sparkle, repetition and contrast. Rounded beads create rhythm, bows soften the line, and pendants add movement and a final point of character.
Sometimes a color is removed because it feels too strong. Sometimes one clear bead is enough to connect two different tones.
Nothing is added simply to fill a space. Every element is selected to give the strand its own balance, mood, and visual rhythm.

Threaded by Hand
The human touch remains visible.
Once the colors and structure have been decided, each piece is threaded one bead at a time.
Selecting the beads, adjusting their order, checking the spacing, and securing every connection all require patience and close attention. Our phone charms, bracelets, and beaded accessories are individually composed and assembled by hand rather than produced as perfectly identical copies.
As a result, subtle variations may naturally appear from one piece to another.
We do not see these differences as flaws. They are the quiet signature of something made individually, giving every strand a character of its own.
